My submission for double is, again, an older photo. This time, it’s from a visit to an aquarium in Tôkyô, Japan.
For today’s Photography 101 theme, edge, I chose a photo which I made in Central Park, New York City. I adjusted the angle a little in Pixlr. Hope you like it 🙂
I went to two Christmas markets in Cologne today and stumbled upon these pretty glass lamps. Perfect for today’s photo 101 theme.
I’ve thought long about this. What do I consider a treasure? There is my family, of course. My friends and my lover. There’s also something else, though. Something that never fails to make me happy: Literature.
I chose Macbeth because I adore Shakespeare’s writing. Macbeth is my favourite Shakespeare play, and as such it opened the doors to many wonderful experiences. Be that theatre excursions, my ability to understand Victorian English, or the meeting of people who later became dear friends.
For the theme landscape, I chose a photo from my trip to England last year. English landscape truly is beautiful, especially so near the sea. I fell in love – again. This photo hasn’t been processed in any way.
A moment that will never be forgotten.
The World Trade Center memorial in New York City was heart-breaking but beautiful. I couldn’t help but feel the weight of all the lives that had been lost on that day.
For today’s theme, I played around in a new app called Aviary.
I’m just getting to know it but so far, they offer really interesting features.
This photo isn’t perfect. The colour isn’t regularly applied. I do like it though. It feels rough, in a way.
I love this theme: mystery. There are so many possibilities! I took a lot of photos today but wasn’t satisfied with them.
Then I got home and passed a building site. On it, this yellow warning light. Perfect! I really like these shots. I hope you do, too.
The sun came out today! Perfect timing for our Photography 101 theme warmth.
